The Boys’ Brigade Share-a-Gift (BBSG) returns this Christmas season for its 29th run of bringing cheer to underprivileged Singaporeans. This year, BBSG aims to make a difference to the lives of 38,317 beneficiaries. At the media conference on 9 November 2016 at Mountbatten Vocational School, BBSG hopes to spread awareness about the project early to gather more volunteers and donors to help achieve the targets. The project will be held from 25 November to 19 December 2016.
As part of the year-end season of giving, 21 youths from Mountbatten Vocational School and Singapore School for the Deaf had their Christmas wishes fulfilled in advance and were also gifted the opportunity to participate in a Cajon drumming workshop sponsored by our presenting sponsor, Prudential Singapore.
The Cajon drumming workshop was a platform for the youth beneficiaries to express themselves through music and rhythms and it also enabled them to interact with their peers, our BB Boys and representatives from Prudential Singapore.
It was a heartening sight to see everyone enjoying themselves and the joy on their faces as they receive their gifts. We look forward to kick start this meaningful project along with our sponsors and officials to bring smiles to the needy this Christmas season!
