Where are the Wish Trees located?


Our Wish Trees are situated at various locations. (Please refer to Locations for more information).


 Please follow the following steps:


  1. Pick up a wish tag with the beneficiary's name and wish item
  2. Shop for the gift stated in the wish tag
  3. Return to the Wish Tree (by 17 Dec) with the wish tag securely attached to the gift


* Do not wrap the gifts for logistical and security reasons.


Can you give me a more specific list of General Food items that can be donated?


Yes, in no particular order:


  • Rice
  • Milo
  • Cooking Oil
  • Biscuits
  • Beverages (E.g. Coffee/Tea, Milk Powder etc)
  • Condiments/Seasonings (E.g. Soya Sauce, Salt, Sugar)
  • Halal Canned Food
  • Instant Noodles


How and where can I fulfill the General and Specific Wishes?


Our Collection and Centres and Wish Trees at the various locations will be opened from 11am to 9pm daily.


For General and Specific Wishes, all you have to do is buy the food and specific wish items you want to donate and drop them off at any time between 11am and 9pm at the following Collection Centres. Click here for the locations.

What types of gifts can be donated?

A. General Wishes


These requests include consumable food items such as rice, oil, sugar, biscuits, cereals, powdered milk, canned food and instant noodles.


B. There are 4 categories of Specific Wishes: Children, Elderly, Family and Special Needs.


The Wishes are capped at certain amount as follows:


  • Children Wishes - capped at $80 per wish
  • Elderly Wishes - capped at $80 per wish
  • Family Wishes - capped at $350 per wish
  • Special Needs - capped at $80 per wish


The Children and Elderly wishes include items such as school bags, school shoes, kettles and mattresses. Family wishes include items which benefit the whole family such as washing machines, refrigerators and rice cookers.


Who will benefit from the project this year?


The recipients of these gifts include some 6,909 households who are receiving assistance from Government-funded ComCare programmes and from 211 Voluntary Welfare Organisations.

BBSG Collection Centres Boxes and Wish Trees: 11am - 9pm


Please come back the next day should you visit us past operation hours. For security reasons, please do not leave your items unattended at our boxes. For easy item verifications, please do not wrap the items as well.


What are the objectives of the project?


  • To bring Cheer to the less fortunate in Singapore during the Christmas season (by collecting gifts for the less fortunate)
  • To inculcate the spirit of community service among members of The Boys' Brigade
  • To promote the spirit of caring and sharing among Singaporeans
